Wake Up Call !!

Do you ever feel like your having one of those days and then you get a big wake up call in some way or another which pretty much screams 'you need to sort yourself out' I have been running alot recently as im trying to get fit and me and my friend Lauren are planning to race 10k in race for life. I've been doing well and eating alot better. It came to my attention that one of my favourite dresses will not proceed anyfurther than my waist, the Levis my male friend gave to me no longer fasten and to top it all my new on today skirt ripped right down the seam !! Was one of the most degrading moments of my life and such a gorgeous skirt too !! It was definately a wake up call this has never happened before, but in a way I see it as a positive as now I'm aware I need to do something about it.

Another Successful Collaboration

As most of you know I work alot with my friend and fashion designer Ebony Goodman. She has just finished her first university assignment and had made this stunning two piece titled 'Osteological' based upon the skelectal bone structure. I created this advert to compliment the finished piece, and we are both really pleased, I think you will all agree it looks amazing. It reminds me very much of McQueen with the dark grungy setting !!

Making Time for Gok

For those who havn't read this book READ IT!! I had it for christmas but with everything being hectic at the moment, reading isn't something i've had time to do, but I have realised after starting this book I'm making time.

I didn't realise how much I love reading until I started reading this book. I especially love autobiographies and this one is truly brilliant, i'm about half way through and i've laughed, cried, been shocked and amazed.

Studying fashion it's interesting to see how Gok made it and like me he was a small town guy, and grew up in Leicter not too far from me !!
